Rescue in The Philippines is an inspirational, documentary that will tell the story of how an interesting mix of friends got together and helped more than 1,200 Jews escape the Nazis and immigrate to the Philippines. The characters include the five Frieder brothers, Cincinnati businessmen making two-for-a-nickel cigars in pre-WWII Philippines -- together with Manuel Quezon, the charismatic first elected president of the Philippines -- Paul McNutt, US High Commissioner  -- and an ambitious Army Colonel named Dwight Eisenhower.
